Mario Schintu

  • Was born in Tula (SS) on 3 August, 1958. In 1982 he graduated in Political Science at LUISS university in Rome, he is a journalist registered with the National Association of Journalists and Contributors (no. 151194) and in a career spanning over 30 years, he has held managerial and directorship positions both in the public and private sectors.

    From 1984 to 1990, he worked first as a Product Manager and Commercial Director with Partner  Credit Institutions /Factoring banks  for DINERS CLUB INTERNATIONAL, and then for AMERICAN EXPRESS as Sales Manager, Corporate Cards Sales Manager and Account Market Manager.

    From 1991 to 1996, he worked for TELECOM  as  Cards Operation Manager  in the Public and Mobile Telephony Division.

    From 1996 to 1998, he worked in TELECOM – TIM as Advertising Manager in the External Relations Division and then as Marketing Service Manager.

    From 1999 to 2009, he worked in TELECOM ITALIA as Marketing Manager in the International Division,  for projects and procurement tenders for the Spanish market; as CDA Consultant Fundaciòn Retevision and Auna, and Director of Marketing and External Relations for Telecom Italia Spain (Madrid); as Benchmarking Manager in the Wireline Division; as Marketing and Commercial Satellite Services, and Maritime Radio Communications in the  Corporate Clients Division, and as Director of Positioning in the Mobile division; as Marketing Manager for Northern Italy in the  Top Clients division.

    From 2009 to 2012 he worked for the ROME MUNICIPALITY as Corporate-Communications  Director, IBAC Manager and Chairman of the Examination board for Communications-Computer Officers.

    In 2013 he became the C.E.O. of FIN TELEVISION TELEPONTE.

    In 1983, he attended the ICADE Madrid Managerial Training internship at the l’Instituto Catolico de Adminitraciòn Y Direcciòn de Empresas; in 1992, the Master Executive programme in Corporate Finance and Marketing and Sales at Bocconi University, and the Marketing and Telecommunications courses that are part of the managerial training programme for Telecom Italia managers.
